Road 13 Winery Barrel Room

Road 13 Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery located between Osoyoos and Oliver, at Highway 97 and Road 13 on the Okanagan Valley’s historic “Golden Mile.”

In 2010, a new wine tasting room and barrel room were added. Because of our reputation for environmentally friendly

GeoExchange systems, TRAK was asked to assist with the construction goals.

In addition to mechanical design, TRAK supplied the ground loop and mechanical components consisting of a high-quality energy-efficient water-to-water (hydronic) heat pump, prefabricated components such as TRAK Energy Device (TED) boxes, control panels, and programming of an overall TRAK energy management system.

The new heat pump in the Central Mechanical room provides heating and cooling for all areas, very tight temperature control of the barrel room, and domestic water heating.
